Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as one of the top athletes in sports. Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was regarded as one of the sport's greatest athletes. Biles and their younger sibling Adria was adopted from Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) were raised there. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles took home a medal in vault, and a bronze medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began participating in the elite level of competition. Within two years she had won the discipline. Biles stood out for her consistent, having an exuberant energy and joyful personality. She also integrated an extreme amount of difficulty in all of her competitions vaulting uneven bars floor exercise.
