Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author also a model, actor and author. Ali MacGraw is well-known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. She started as a photographer's assistant, and later moved into acting and modeling. She was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was an aspiring young actress. MacGraw was a worldwide star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. With just three releases MacGraw was named the top female box-office start around the globe. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
